There should be a UBI and all meaningless work should be eliminated. We would slash the production of useless disposable crap and that would contribute to slashing C02 emissions. But we also must simply leave fossil fuels in the ground. We'd need a whole lot less energy IF we didn't have people commuting to bullshit jobs and others creating crap with unneeded energy to end up in landfills.

Oh, and we especially need to end the dead weight of billionaire owners, CEOs, other clueless executives and huge shareholders—people who produce nothing but collect most of the wealth produced by others.
