There's only one of me! That said, I have been thinking about the structure of the post-oil world. I just don't have the bandwidth to prioritize it.

I've been thinking about incremental steps. What does a world look like when the core motivation is love of our children, our Earth, and our common humanity? Instead of money, wealth, fame and power?

I think a template worked out in advance—possibly yours!—is a good idea. Leaving what comes next to chance would be risky. But all I've been looking at is how to take care of people who leave their Big Oil jobs—and I've been thinking of building on existing structures—co-ops—into a series of them that can work as sort of a UBI, initially for the brave people who walk off their jobs at coal mines, oil rigs, etc.

I'm a little scared of building something from scratch. But that doesn't mean that this shouldn't be done. It only means that I may not be the person to initiate that...

I guess what I'm thinking is, I'd love to spend some time getting a summary of your ideas, and then maybe I'd speak out in favor of them. But I can't play that big a role beyond that.
