There's plenty of blame to go around. But I blame the fossil fuel companies first and foremost. They've spent millions buying politicians and policy and media companies and PR and advertising. Everyone else is largely subservient to them.

Which is why we can't change anything through the system. And we can't easily overthrow the system. So, our only hope now is sabotage—see the new book How to Blow Up a Pipeline. This is a very unfortunate circumstance, but destroying fossil fuel infrastructure is better than attacking the actual people running all this. Better to attack physical assets that are killing us and not human beings...no matter how odious their actions.
