These very immature adults attack the messenger—Greta—because they don’t like being challenged. I am referring to, of course, the ultra wealthy and the politicians they buy with bribery. Here in America the bribery center in on K Street in Washington, DC, but the ultra wealthy have tentacles everywhere.

As long as we respect the authority of the dinosaurs who continue to burn fossil fuels out of personal greed, as long as we take the clever morons seriously, we risk losing a habitable Earth.

Greta, by fighting for the Earth, threatens these ruthless geezers. Even if we can’t outright overthrow them, we need to let them know we understand that they are doing great evil, that their is no excuse, that we don’t respect them and we recognize their actions as crimes against humanity.

Greta is using nicer language, but that’s the essential truth she is communicating.
