Heroes are coming to our rescue, and it’s the only sizable and sensible block of voters — women.
Now, I’ve heard it said that women aren’t a block of voters. Jews in Germany weren’t a united group (they weren’t even religious and identified primarily as Germans) until the Nazis arrived. And women weren’t a block until Roe was repealed and MAGA nuts began shoving the knife in deeper into women’s wombs.
Right wing hatred is so powerful that they can’t stop themselves— they’re coming for birth control. They’re already requiring women in some states to give birth to rapists’ babies. They’re already turning women away from emergency rooms.
And we’ve seen clear signs of women reacting, standing up for themselves, and doing it in the voting booths.
In an Iowa case, the conservative activist majority — the one that reversed what they said under oath was “setttled law” and struck down Roe at the earliest opportunity — appears to be on the verge of giving the okay to state governments to insert themselves into women’s uteruses at will.
