This is a judgement that I believe is mistaken. I don't believe that women use abortion casually as a form of birth control. Abortion is a scary medical procedure. Women don't want to need abortions. They use birth control. (Do men? What's THEIR responsibility?) Sometimes, in the passion of the moment, they make mistakes. Who doesn't make mistakes? Should the punishment for making a mistake be enabling the state to use them as incubators?

Furthermore, is the question whether the federal or state governments have the jurisdiction to control women's bodies? I don't think that the viewpoint that a person has absolute authority over one's own body should be the default.
