This is an accurate scenario. If WE—meaning ordinary people—continue to cooperate with leaders who are set on ruining the Earth, we are doomed.

But we have an alternative and some of us have begun to choose this other path: nonviolent noncooperation.

We tend to forget that the power of powerful people comes from us. WE do all the work and dictators lose power when people refuse to obey. Now, of course, not everyone will stop obeying. But all we need is ENOUGH people to stop, and that will weaken the so-called "strongmen," expose their vulnerability and ultimately make them powerless.

Simultaneously, we put into place a different approach to living, one that values LIFE and NATURE and not stuff (mostly crap) and greed and abusive power.

WE understand that it's literally insane to ruin the planet we all live on. WE understand that the strongmen do NOTHING and require US to destroy the Earth for them.

WE CAN STOP.

We foresee sharply and quickly slashing C02 emissions by refusing to producing anything except what's either necessary or very, VERY valuable. Thus, we will produce healthy food, medicine and similar things. We won't produce yachts or private jets or crappy useless commodities for sale. Probably 80-90% of what's produced is made for commercial reasons, not because it's needed.

Screw that.
