Those of us who are sane and who care need to do something. We may do different things, but doing nothing is not an option. The more of us who actively work on this problem, the better our chances. Some of what we try will work, others won't.
My personal bet is we need to build a huge number of laymen activists, with multiple groups using different strategies—but ALL trying to force the implementation of a worldwide emergency climate program run by climate scientists, but assisted by caring empathetic responsible adults and children.
I assume that climate scientists will want 1) sharply reduced C02 emissions and ending fossil fuels 2) sharply reducing production, and eliminating the production of useless crap—which is produced in huge quantities, wasting energy, spewing toxins, and overflowing landfills, and 3) begin shrinking the population by limiting births. But whatever the experts decide, that's what we do. My guesses are just guesses.
