I like Medium, but you never know when a commercial platform will turn on you.

I’ve just read that yet another publication has been banned from Medium. Backyard Church has disappeared. It’s unclear why. It follows the removal of Coffee Times. And I’ve noticed many important writers fleeing this platform, sometimes due to concerns of possible banning.

Anyway, I’m sure some people are offended by much of what I write. I reject bigotry and violence and greed and hatred, and I strongly endorse love and kindness and cooperation and protection of the Earth and respect and care for the young.

That’s a controversial viewpoint in 2023 — and threatening to bigots and other people with similar attitudes.

So, I am asking you to please sign up for my email list at A Climate Declaration, where I cross-post most of the material I publish on Medium. And if you don’t want to do that, at least bookmark the site and check back regularly for fresh content.

As you probably know, I don’t want your money. I just want to work with you to save the Earth.
