Which are you? And why?

I feel like I’m an easygoing guy. A live and let live type.

But I am a Radical. Which is weird. Because that suggests a hyper-emotional fire-breathing fanatic. Or something like that.

Here. Relaxing in my easy chair, listening to mellow classical music. Quietly. Feet up. Ready to take a nap.

But when I think about what is a Traditionalist, a Reformer and a Radical, I can see clearly that I am the latter.

Defining These Things

I skip the term Conservative because today the people who are dismantling the existing systems, removing what remains of a representative government and installing a fascist dictatorship—they are often referred to as Conservatives.

So “Conservative” is a term which has no fixed meaning and is, therefore, worse than useless. It is outright deceptive.

That’s why I’m using the word “Traditionalist.”

A Traditionalist is someone who thinks, for the most part, that things are just fine the way they are. They don’t want change. Maybe a few tweaks around the edges. But most changes are seen as changes for the worse, and whatever improvements can be made are minor.
