Trump was attacking immigrants from day one. I hadn’t been to a protest in decades. I’m uncomfortable in crowds. I immediately went to a huge protest at the airport to speak up for immigrants.

I recognized the concentration camps for what they are immediately. I yelled at people who called them “detention centers.”

I called Trump a fascist from the start. I called his enablers accomplices. I used the hashtag #nurembergonthepotomc for years until quitting Facebook and Twitter a few weeks ago.

I contacted human rights activists to try to encourage tribunals to hold this current crop of fascists accountable in the same way we punished their predecessors.

I’ve been disgusted by apologists and those who cut these murderous thugs slack.
