Unfortunately, our leaders—enamored by oil profiteers—pissed away decades by propping up fossil fuels when we had more time.

We are out of time. Earth is at code red. We don’t have the luxury of going at a measured pace.

Whatever ideologues say, physics and chemistry get the final word. This is an emergency.

We do what’s necessary or we and our offspring will take the consequences. Delay in the face of the facts is inexcusable.

Those of us in the reality-based community are done listening to excuses. We are ready to act—whether our “leaders” (who are catastrophic failures) are ready or not.
