Formally, the party has no platform except to obey Trump. But their behavior reveals what they stand for.
Some guy attacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband — an octogenarian — with a hammer. It’s hard to imagine a more cowardly act. Except perhaps posting riflemen near ballot drop off boxes to intimidate voters.
This is the GOP in 2022. Not the party of Lincoln. It’s the party of Stalin, of Hitler, of Mussolini. It’s the party of violence, of intimidation, of murder. It’s the party of racism, of hatred, of gleeful cruelty. It’s the party of greed, of selfishness. It’s the party that opposes love and charity and forgiveness yet claims to believe in Jesus while defying and denouncing every word He preached.
It is a party steeped in fantasy, in unreality — an expansion beyond the George W. Bush administration’s ridicule of the “reality-based community.”
The MAGA crowd, however, isn’t worth our attention. Yes, we must vote against them. But talking to insane morons will do nothing but waste our precious time.
And time is running out. The MAGAs are simply one group of insane people and authorities worldwide. Dangerously, criminally insane.
They are destroying our Earth with fossil fuels. Their words mean nothing. We must stop…
