Water Emergency: And So It Begins

I’m surprised I’ve dodged the bullet for so long.

Philly bottled water run. South Street, Philadelphia. March 26, 2023.

A little while ago, the City of Philadelphia issued a warning via smart phones, that the tap water is no longer safe to drink. They “recommend” we drink bottled water. A chemical spill in the Delaware River has poisoned the proverbial well.

So, I went out to buy a case of water. Not several cases. Not as much water as I could find. One case. Because I’m trying to preserve what’s left of civilization and ensure that OTHER people also have drinkable water.

Of course, I don’t know how serious the emergency really is, how long it’ll last or even if we are being told the truth about it. I don’t believe that conspiracies are common, but I do believe the government lies quite a bit. Hey, somebody’s got to protect the corporation responsible for the toxic spill from litigious citizens who selfishly seek to protect their health and the health of their children.

The battle against Joe Citizen is a public-private partnership.

Smart Phone warning.
