We are a group of people who haven’t lost hope. We have learned activism from the successful movements in history—India ousting the British Empire, the Civil Rights Movement desegregating the racist American South, the migrant workers of California and their victory over their exploiters.

We understand that many, many people—certainly more than a billion—are aware that we are on the road to climate collapse, and a ruined Earth that will cause terrible suffering for our children and all future generations.

We are aware that these people feel afraid, alone and powerless.

We believe that we can awaken and activate millions and possibly billions of people to stand up for their children and their planet. We believe we can force genuine action on a worldwide emergency program, designed mostly by scientists. We believe we can demolish the deadly values that underlying our failed economic political and economic systems, and replace greed with generosity, valuing stuff with valuing life, and selfishness with empathy and kindness—for EVERYONE.

We think that what we’ve let our failed leaders—and business and political leaders everywhere have failed catastrophically to act to protect the climate—well, what they’ve done is literally insane.

It’s insane to destroy the planet that we and everyone we love lives on. We won’t let them do it!
