We can’t be countries anymore. The nation state is incapable of addressing the worldwide crisis these states created by serving the fossil fuel profiteers who fund them.

The climate crisis is NOW, and we see it in real time. The people of Maui don’t have the luxury of being optimists. Nor do the people who are suffering from wildfires, toxic smoke, extraordinary heatwaves, unprecedented storms and other disasters caused KNOWINGLY by fossil fuel profiteers. All over America and the world human beings are suffering terribly and needlessly for the short term benefit of an unworthy ultra wealthy few.

But even these victorious few are not immune and WE must also save them from their limitless hubris and selfishness and cruelty and stupidity.

Only the sane billions can save Nature and everyone’s children from the insane few.

What can you say about people who were warned by scientists yet chose to continue expanding fossil fuel use, and lie about the crisis for money…well, that insane. We must refuse to do anything that would allow them to continue. We must disempower them and empower climate scientists and young climate activists.
