We Don’t Trust Nuclear Power Because the Industry Always Lies

Every accident is understated and covered up. The problem isn’t that they get bad press — it’s that they lie for profit, just like the oil industry.

Nuclear wants to save the world. They want to replace oil — and they want you to abandon wind and solar.

Because nuclear is safe and cheap. Sadly, out of our ignorance, we don’t understand. Not only is nuclear safe, it’s safer than solar. All those batteries are a terrible hazard. Radioactivity? Hey, nobody died at Three Mile Island.

Those arguments might have a smidge of credibility if the nuclear industry didn’t have such a long and unbroken record of lying. And even then…probably not.

Here’s something:

Fish near Fukushima contained radioactive cesium 180 times over Japan’s limit

Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima

All of these incidents were flukes and caused no significant damage. Furthermore, they couldn’t happen with todays modern, safe and efficient reactors.

We promise, the Titanic is unsinkable and the Titan won’t implode. Safety is paramount and our commitment to safety won’t be compromised simply to maximize profits.
