We have catastrophic problems and our leaders and systems are incapable and/or unwilling to deal with them in a meaningful way. That said, scientists are not saying we are doomed. Our planet has suffered serious permanent data—but scientists still want action. Even with overshoot, our actions still matter.

I recommend we do all we can.
