We have evaded or recovered from economic collapse before. And we saved ourselves from nuclear war more than once. But we have NEVER made any meaningful effort to stop destroying the climate and are now burning more fossil fuels than ever.

My money is on climate murder/suicide. We are pursuing it full speed.
