They destroy the world for profit. They hire idiot managers to make it more difficult to get the work done. They buy politicians to ensure we are dependent and desperate. They make sure the government gives them everything they want and we get nothing we want.

Their only chance to not end up the most hated villains in history, murderers of the planet and their own grandchildren, is for us to defy them, ban fossil fuels, put everything immediately into clean renewables, put policy and decisions into the hands of the rare responsible adults—select scientists and engineers—and banish politicians, businessmen, pundits and economists to their playpens.
