We The People Are Speaking
This pieces as written as a speech, not an essay. For that reason, it intentionally repeats certain points for emphasis.
We are finding our voices. We The People — not just of the United States, but of Earth — are waking up. We are opening our eyes and stretching. We are looking around on this new day. I’m in the United States. Here, we don’t like what we see.
We see our public servants ordering us about. They’re disobedient. Insolent.
They were hired for a job. They were hired to protect our inalienable rights and our wellbeing. Instead, they’ve stolen the silverware.
These servants have been running amuck while we were sleeping. Kidnapping, torturing, stealing, raping, brutalizing and killing.
They’ve forgotten their place. They’ve failed at their jobs — catastrophically.
We’d fire the servants forthwith, but we have more immediate problems. They’ve trashed the place. They’ve created a terrible mess and we need it fixed up immediately.
It’s a disaster. It requires our attention right now. We’ll deal with the help later.
We’re ARE going to fix this. We are rolling up our sleeves. We clearly can’t get good help nowadays, so we will do it ourselves. Hey, we always do the work. All of it. We grow food, build houses…
