We Will NOT “Just Follow Orders” By Authorities to Destroy the Earth
The courts have passed Nazi enabling laws (putting the chief executive above the law) and have allowed Big Oil to ruin the entire planet, and turn it into a hellhole. They must never be obeyed.
There is a higher law and mere process doesn’t decide good and evil.
Suppose Trump wins this upcoming election. I’m working hard—as are millions of others—to defeat him at the polls. But suppose he wins.
And suppose he does the things he says he’ll do. Suppose he expands his attack on women’s rights. Suppose he deports millions of brown people (as we know, BECAUSE they are brown, because he never deports Canadians who have overstayed their visas), and roughs them up, takes their children away.
Remember, the Trump administration went to court to deny caged children from getting toothbrushes and blankets.
Both the Nixon and Johnson administration sent Americans to kill and die in Vietnam. They won elections.
My point is this: Bad laws must be violated by good people. And the processes, whether they be legislative or electoral processes—even when and if they are fair—are not binding on people who insist on good values and reject bad ones.
