We will reject ALL of our current "leaders"—they are all failures or worse.

First, there are the people who are hostile to the Earth, to humanity and especially to the children and generations to follow. They are exemplified by the a-hole you are quoting. But the one a-hole is part of a much bigger group.

And then there are the "pragmatists" who believe that the sensible thing to do is compromise with physics and chemistry and biology—as if Nature science could or would compromise to fit in with political expediency. Some of these people are genuinely well-meaning, but that doesn't matter. Following them is death, albeit slightly slower than following the ESG opponenets.

Neither group has any power once ordinary people—you and me—refuse to follow or obey them. Yes, some will continue to follow them, but we will defang these ridiculous ideologies and system. We will stand behind the young, who are much more attuned to what's happening (witness the size and scope of Fridays for Future vs. the adult-led climate movements) and we will win. Because we must.
