Well, the Democrats did make a strategic mistake. They assumed that men might care about their wives and daughters and might oppose having sex abusers and rapists in charge of the Federal Government. They stupidly thought that reducing women to the status of incubators and sex slaves would be objectionable to men. The Democrats may have even been so clueless as to believe that men cared for or even loved some of the women in their lives.

They won't make that mistake again. They won't have an opportunity to.

The reaction of women? They are a bit disappointed and more of them—out of simple self-defense and self-respect—are done with men. That's what's sparking the rapid growth of the 4B movement in America. Our government hates women, men obviously don't care much for women, and so they are on their own.
