What are the consequences of NOT replacing fossil fuel energy with energy sources that don't spew C02?

Because everything has some negative effects. And we KNOW that the failed path we are on rapidly leads to an Earth that resembles Venus—an unlivable hell hole for human beings.

Basically, waiting for more reseach has been one of the leading excuses for inadequate action or inaction. It's what brought us to this deadly situation we are in today.

Let's get off our duffs and demand our leaders slash C02 emission NOW using the technology we have NOW. We can make adjustments as we get improved technology and more information. But delay or moving slowly are unforgivably irresponsible position.

Our children will never forgive us. At least until their untimely deaths.
