What Next for Our Climate & “A Climate Declaration”?

Yesterday I published A Climate Declaration. It isn’t a perfect document but I believe it encapsulates the hopes and dreams of billions of people — especially parents — worldwide who want to rescue and repair our besieged planet for our children. Right now, as a species we are doing nothing, the same nothing we have been doing for decades. The same nothing that gave Portugal its hottest day ever yesterday topping 118 degrees.

I believe that literally billions of people worldwide love their children and care about the Earth and they want to do something to secure a safe future for the next generation. But they do not know what to do.

A Climate Declaration is a broad framework for action. I am asking everyone who cares to download it, print it, post it, and publicize it every way possible. It’s not magic but it could be the trigger for change — if WE do our parts.

I know people are busy and cynical and all that. I’ve been there myself. But in this case, you can do just a little and that will REALLY help. I believe these ideas will resonate and grow if they become KNOWN. Visibility is our first step.
