A quick but important note on a difficult day.
I didn’t panic or collapse in despair on that December day in 2019 when I was wheeled into an operating room, fully aware that I might never wake up. In fact, there were complications and I spent the next day unconscious on a ventilator.
I’m bringing this up to explain why I’m not in despair today, and instead concentrating on what we need to do next.
That’s what I always do. When I wake up in the morning, I think—hey, it looks like I’ve got another day! What can I do with it?
Are YOU Ready to Act? To Do What History Demands of Us?
We have two huge crises and have had them for some time.
- Our species is ruining the biosphere and the climate, rapidly turning our formerly hospitable planet into a hostile hellhole for human and other life.
- Our systems by which we live—governments and economies—are stupid and dangerous and wasting our short, precious lives.
The desire of every sane and caring person on Earth is for everyone to live life fully, especially given the short precarious nature of our existence. We understand that to knowingly and willingly ruin our planet is literally insane.
