What would you call someone who doesn’t care whether God exists or not? Yeah, I’m an atheist. I’ve heard the Word from the Good Book by Darwin. But I don’t care about any religion. I would like people to be kind to each other—and morality is something Christianity and other religions claim you can only get from religion—oh, but only THEIR religion. And yet, it’s astounding how immoral many of the loudest people screaming “Jesus” behave.

Obviously, if you are a caring person, you will typically behave that way. Simple observation confirms that religion does not make people more moral. One could argue that, on balance, it makes them less so.
