What you say is true. But not complete. The United States plutocracy is perhaps the leading power of destruction. But other systems and leaders are also destroying the planet: Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, India…nearly ALL governments.

Not a single one has declared a climate emergency and taken the measures needed, as described by climate scientists. So, yes, we must remove those in power from positions of authority in the United States. But we must do this worldwide as well.
