What’s really fatal is that after 35+ years of warnings from climate scientists, zero fossil fuel refineries and coal mines and pipelines have been closed because nobody has done a damn thing about the coming climate collapse.

You could build a thousand nuclear plants, and a billion windmills and a trillion solar plants. Nobody is reducing fossil fuels so alternative energy—nuclear or not—doesn’t mean a damn thing.

Nobody in a position of authority in business or government has done anything meaningful. Carbon emissions are at record levels and INCREASING.

The important thing to understand, and more than a billion people worldwide have figured this out, is that leaders everywhere have failed catastrophically on climate and continue to do so.

They must go, along with oil sheiks, plutocrats and others who are preventing any serious climate action.

They must, go along with systems that put personal wealth and power above PRESERVING THE BIOSPHERE.

WE must do it. The billion people who are smart and honest and caring enough to demand that we hand over a habitable planet to the next generation.

I leave where nuclear fits in to climate scientists. I trust their expertise. But simply letting nuclear profiteers join in the greed orgy on a dying planet won’t do a damn thing to stop fossil fuels or save our children from inheriting a ruined planet.
