When a broad group of people in positions of authority agree, I tend to believe they are wrong. For example, nearly everyone in power makes excuses to continue destroying the planet with fossil fuels. The Sixth Extinction is a public-private partnership that spans a wide band of ideology. Listening to the scientists and actually taking the action required is a maligned fringe position.
None of the people listed should have any authority over AI—they are people who have furthered the crisis we face today.
I'd look for truly caring, sane and benevolent experts in AI. They exist. They are the people who say "slow down" so we can look at what we are doing, and carefully evaluate our actions before we take them.
