Whenever there's a problem with the economy, the rich always blame the poor—and the media endorses their nonsense.

We are always spending too much or too little. We are saving too little. Or we aren't productive enough. We want too much money from our employers, or—God help us—benefits.

Sometimes we have the audacity to ask for value for our tax dollars, while the rich conceal and protect their money in overseas tax shelters like those exposed in the Panama and Paradise papers.

Of course, the rich and their media still spout nonsense, but since Occupy we know all about the 1% and they aren't fooling us one bit.
