Where Are the Journalists Covering Palestine, Ohio?

What happening in Palestine, Ohio? All I see are the minimal bare bones info and absolutely zero investigation by the news media.

When I read about the rail crash in Palestine, Ohio and the subsequent release of toxic chemicals, I feel like nobody is doing their job. If I lived in Palestine, Ohio, I’d get the hell out and stay out until some clear and credible information was available.

There seems to be endless whining by editorial writers and journalists regarding the false rumors about what happened. Hey, 3,500 fish died but the deaths of land animals is unproven. The company responsible didn’t offer only $5 for each resident. Oh, yeah, they DID offer $2,500 to help the 5,000 people of the town. But the money wasn’t going directly to the people — so it WASN’T $5 per person. And besides, once the publicity got bad, the company promised to offer a larger sum of money.

So stop those damn rumors!

Why Don’t Actual Reporters and Government Officials Tell Us What’s Going On?

If anyone actually cared about false rumors, they’d probably do some research and find out the important and relevant facts — so that people who might be in danger could take appropriate measures.
