Who gives a crap about either party? I mean, really.

Basically, both are complete failures on the existential crisis of climate collapse. They are killing all of our grandchildren. True, the GOP does so faster and with more enthusiasm.

But both are worse than useless.

My plan B is the one promoted by Andreas Malm in How To Blow Up A Pipeline. Sabotage the hardware of the fossil fuel industry and deadly products like SUVs. Make fossil fuels and risky investment and starve the planet killers of capital. Make the money flee to clean energy.

It’s our only chance. Both political parties are polluted with oil money. That’s why with a 40 year warning, not a single effing meaningful thing has been done by either of them.

And, by the way, there is no way in hell at this late date we have time to organize our way out of this, going through a system awash in corporate money. If that was ever possible, it’s certainly too late now.
