Why I’ve Withdrawn My Consent

I cannot consent to willful and insane ecocide.

It is a bedrock principle of American government that any government draws its just powers from the consent of the governed. Now, I don’t always agree with the principles of American government — after all, this country’s principles originally supported slavery — but I agree with this one.

I want to go on record publicly that I cannot and do not consent to this government — this ENTIRE government (not just a particular party or administration)—and that its power over me is by force, not consent.

This government is not legitimate because the systems under which it operates are hypocritical and dangerous.

Examples

I watched, live on TV, an American president incite a violent insurrection and subsequently and publicly voice support for this brutal indefensible act. He told the insurrectionists—live on TV—that he loved them.

The United States Constitution—which every official of the government is sworn to protect and defend—failed to defend it. Section 3 of the 14th amendment says:
