They demand respect and cry like babies when they don’t get their way. What gives?
Elon Musk suspended the accounts of people who criticized him. He makes jokes about his critics and talks about how he’s such a big man that he tolerates them. But ultimately he balked and had to try to silence them.
He reinstated Donald Trump’s account — you know the guy who spews hate and incites insurrection and tells pernicious lies — while suspending the accounts of journalists. You know, people who check their facts and are busy largely spreading the truth. Journalists from the Washington Post and The NY Times. Oh, and even Keith Olbermann.
We aren’t stupid. We understand that Musk doesn’t want to pay for a platform empowering his critics to criticize him. But why all the posturing about “free speech”?
Sensitive Men
Donald Trump. Elon Musk. Terribly persecuted people who are trying to do good. At least, that’s how they portray themselves. They see themselves as heroes in a hostile world. In fact, they are simple narcissists in positions of power — and abusers of their power.
They earn their opposition. They attack people. They threaten people’s livelihoods. And sometimes they threaten people’s personal safety.
