The Saners is a movement dedicated to using nonviolent noncooperation to prevent climate collapse and build a better civilization, one based on love and kindness and caring for each other and our planet.
From the beginning, I was not interested in social media as an important vehicle for The Saners. I did not trust those huge controlling entities. In any case, The Saners is largely about human dignity, and Facebook and X have no respect for human beings.
These companies rent out human eyeballs while we are alive to make billions of dollars. YOU are merely the product.
Facebook and X Are Nearly Useless to The Saners
The only value that Facebook and X could offer to The Saners is visibility—the opportunity to share our messages with a wider audience. But using these platforms for that is a fools errand. You can spend YEARS building an audience and have it taken away from you any moment at the whim of the platform operators.
