Winning Hearts and Minds For Immediate Dramatic Necessary Changes
We are past the point of waiting for meaningful climate action by those who failed to act. And it’s too late for a slow, methodical transition to clean energy. We need to awaken people to the way out: US.
Have you heard anyone say, “hey, as you know we have a climate crisis and here’s our plan!”
I haven’t. I’ve heard people talk about specific steps they want to promote. A lot of that is really greenwashing by short-sighted (I’d say STUPID) profiteers—people who don’t give a damn about life or the planet.
Which leader has a credible plan? Who is even offering one? And, if someone DID offer one—perhaps a Jill Stein or a Bernie Sanders—how the hell would they get that plan enacted in a system awash in corporate money?
The truth is, whatever the quality of the leaders we could elect, there is virtually no chance of preventing climate collapse IF WE GO BY THE RULES and TRUST THE SYSTEM.
What’s the definition of insanity, again? Oh, yeah. Trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Been there. Done that. Now, we are done with that.
