With evil, our first obligation is to not cooperate with it and never obey. We don’t need to react to Trump or any fragile weak authority. We disempower evil by refusing to do what it demands. We must remind our loved ones, especially those n positions of enforcement—soldiers, police officers, National Guard—that they have a moral obligation that exceeds any legal obligation. They must not and cannot use their weapons to enforce cruelty, violence, hatred or bigotry.

All of us must work towards withdrawing our support for and obedience to evil authorities. We know good from evil and we insist on the former and will disempower the latter—because evil’s only power is our acting on its behalf.

And we won’t do that ever again.
