The only legal way to act under our system is destroy the planet and spread eternal misery for all of its inhabitants
We’ve seen it moving in this direction all along. More and more actions of the government that protect ordinary people and Nature are unconstitutional. That’s not the United States Constitution ratified in 1789. That’s the Charles Koch Constitution, which supplants it in 2023.
Yes, we all know that billionaires and giant corporations fund (which is a nice euphemism for “bribe” or “own”) politicians and their campaigns — and decide on policy. And policies are written to enhance the power and wealth of the ultra-wealthy, at everyone else’s expense. So, it’s no surprise the this Court is hearing a case that will dismember the government’s remaining powers to protect the people and the Earth in this year’s Dobbs v. Jackson, in a ruling that will brutalize the climate — and YOUR children.
In fact, this new case would nearly eliminate the power of the government to protect anyone from the obviously deadly and cruel overreach of the giant corporations that are intentionally laying our planet to waste. Those forces have already been running rampant — which is why we are less than 10 years from climate destruction that makes today’s killer storms and floods look like the good old days.
