Yes. Like Gandhi ending British rule in India. Or Martin Luther King and others ending Jim Crow in the American South. I think that’s completely acceptable. Perhaps more so this time because the status quo is threatening everyone on Earth.

We cannot accept this change only in the United States because we need every major economy and probably some smaller ones as well. No country can rule over people who refuse to obey…not in the U.S. or China or Russia or India or U.K.

“Radical” is waiting for authorities, who have failed decade after decade to take any meaningful step to avoid climate collapse, to suddenly reverse course. “Radical” is watching the collapse and continuing business as usual, allowing failed leaders everywhere to complete the Sixth Extinction.
