You are correct about the problems with capitalism. But, when it comes to the climate, pretty much every country and system is ruled by people who get their wealth and power from oil. From Saudi Arabia, to China, to Russia, to the United States...all of these rulers are stained with oil...and planetary suicide.
All of these leaders and systems are destroying us. They are functionally insane. We need to oust all of the failed leaders and systems and put the planet on a climate emergency footing, doing everything possible to stabilize the climate and save the planet for our children.
