You are not alone. And you realize you DO have options. For example, you COULD move to another country. Or you could try doing something where you are.
Of course, jobs are tricky and getting a new one may or may not be something you can achieve. Life is tough and America is a pretty merciless society.
Consider somewhere else, especially if you aren't able to make a big change where you are.
