YOU are why I say that climate activists have no enemies, only opponents.
I believe that working through the system is ultimately useless because the dominant forces are petro-plutocrats who hold power and want to maximize shareholder returns by burning every last ounce of fossil fuels.
And then good people like you come along to try to make a difference within the system. While I have doubts, I applaud you and your efforts. I certainly believe that parents of young children—people who have a stake in the future—are the people who will save us. IF we do, in fact, succeed in dodging the climate bullet.
