You know, I never listen to religious rationalizations for bigotry. They are, on the face of it, a repudiation of Jesus Himself.

Even non-religious people understand the core of Jesus’ teachings: love one another.

Meanwhile, right wing theologians twist His words into a pretzel to promote a crazy agenda of hate and violence and cruelty.

Let’s not analyze them as if they can be taken seriously. Let’s call them out, make them take ownership of their ideas, and stop slandering Jesus.
