You know what? Popular opinion isn’t a factor because policies in the US and elsewhere is made by ultra wealthy people who buy politicians with bribes (that’s what K Street is all about). And those people want to continue making profits from fossil fuels.

Even though it will end civilization and destroy the lives of their own grandchildren.

They are just too arrogant and stupid and they believe they are invincible. But they are no match for a destroyed climate.

If we are doomed, so are they.

For everyone’s sake, we should put the spotlight on their responsibility—they chose to destroy the Earth. Not voters.

They need to step down and put climate scientists and engineers in charge. Or it’s as hopeless for them as for all of us.
