You know what? I don't care about "America." Who the hell IS "America"? I care about you and me and what we believe and what we do.
I haven't given up on Martin Luther King. I continue to be inspired by him. And by Gandhi and by many lesser known practitioners and theorists of revolutionary love.
Today's thugs and dictators are just the current abomination. They will pass just as the others have done. There IS evil in people but there is also GOOD in people. I intend to embody the latter and to harness the power of love—as King did—to stubbornly not only fight for a better future for everyone, but to encourage everyone—insofar as possible—to live fully and better today through kindness and love.
I'm far more interested in Rosalyn Morris (and Ray Katz) than I am in any leader or influencers or billionaire or politician or media talking head. YOU have a sense of right and wrong, and YOU are doing more right than wrong. I hope that I am doing the same.
I don't think the conservative right has won much. Maybe a battle. Not the war.
I don't predict the future nor do I encourage anyone to predict. I encourage people to create the future, starting with creating today.
