You make good points. I don't believe that what has historically been common is inevitable going forward. I may be wrong. As I note, every child who survives does so because some loving adults cared for that child. Kindness and love are as much a part of human nature as cruelty. I believe that cruelty is dominant because it is rewarded within our civilization.
But this can be changed and the better angels of our nature can come to the fore. That is my personal mission. And the mission of our movement.
