Your questions are good ones. I have many questions about the Great Resignation. For example, is this a statistically significant trend or simply random variation? I suspect it’s real, but I’d like a genuine expert—not a pundit or worse, an economist—to make that determination.

IF it’s real, it suggests to me that this is a desperation move by millions of people, precisely because in America there’s no real safety net to keep you alive for long.

Also, is it still going on? Has it lasted one or two months and then stopped? Or was it continuing for the latest months we have numbers?
