This is entirely false. Every excuse for dismissing alternative energy has been promoted successfully by the fossil fuel profiteers for decades. Every objection to alternative energy as a substitute for oil is nonsense.

If we continue to fail to slash C02 emissions and especially fossil fuel use, we are toast. Literally.

Fossil fuels are essential to today's world economy in the same way that slavery was essential to the pre-Civil War south, or concentration camps were essential to Nazi Germany.

Only fossil fuels are more far, far dangerous.
